BIO
Logan Pai‘ea White was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai‘i. He graduated from Punahou School and enrolled in the fine arts program at the University of Chicago, going on to graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Interest in the processing of timber lead to employment in a Colorado sawmill, work that included extensive installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment. Upon returning to Hawai‘i in 1997 he founded Pai‘ea Millwrights as a custom woodworking and design business. For several years he worked in a cooperative woodshop setting, where his design and technical skills were further honed. Logan moved Pai‘ea Millwrights into its own facility in 2002. His education is continuing.
