CONCEPTUALIZATION

All of our work is entirely custom, beginning with an initial concept and evolving into a fully realized design.  Whether the idea is clearly defined or merely a flicker of a notion in the client’s mind, we work collaboratively with clients, design professionals, and the project team to arrive at a design that is beautiful, contextually sensitive, and incorporates design features that are both useful and evocative.

SCOPE OF WORK

The design process begins with an initial consultation, where we discuss ideas and scope.  Paiea Millwrights then prepares a proposal outlining materials, design elements, and cost.  Once approved, we produce shop drawings and finish samples for approval by the client before proceeding with fabrication.  Once the job is complete we can coordinate and execute delivery or installation on the job site.

EXECUTION

Our production facilities include modern European woodworking equipment with versatile sawing, shaping, and veneering equipment.  A full featured finishing booth allows us to provide a wide range of artistic and technically advanced finishes.  We utilize a myriad of native and exotic woods, with special treatments including carving, texturing, and inlays as demanded by the job.  We also partner with suppliers and artisans to procure additional materials, design support and capacity.
